(Closed during the Blue Angels Show)
The exhibit
will be different format this year due to the outside venue, come by
meet the astronauts and learn about the history of space exploration
around the world.
Help
celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation and the Navy's
contribution to the Space Program.
"The Space Station"
This unique
museum will give the public a rare opportunity to touch space-flown
artifacts from TWF's extensive collection of U.S., Russian and
Soviet items used in space exploration. It will be located in the
Pacheco Plaza, a shopping center located in the upscale Ignacio
neighborhood of Marin County.

Exhibit is FREE
You are going to see artifacts that have made the long journey to the moon and back, and photographs that have been inscribed by the astronauts themselves in order to tell their stories about adventures in outer space.
- Visit with Navy Aviator Astronauts who have flown to the International Space Station
- Touch Real Space Artifacts
- Try on Real EVA Gloves
- See Space Shuttle Tile in Action

The exhibit is divided into three parts:
Section 1 - “America’s Quest for the Moon”: shows how America reached the moon.
Section 2 - “The Russians, First into Space”: displays the achievements of America’s former adversary, now partner in space.
Section 3 - “Exploring Space Today”: shows present space exploration activities involving the International Space Station, the Space Shuttle and California’s role in our nation’s space exploration efforts.
